About Me
I’m an engineer and product builder focused on creating systems that live in the real world. Today, I lead engineering and product for the Faceplace network of photo booths at Apple Industries Inc., where we’re evolving a traditional photo booth footprint into a global experience distribution platform — one that can deliver something uniquely local and memorable in every location.
Apple Industries is also deeply personal to me. It’s a family business that traces back to my grandfather, Abe Weisberg, who started as a mechanic for coin-op machines in Canarsie, Brooklyn. After serving as a radio technician in WWII, he received vocational training through the U.S. government, and some of his original notes still hang in my office. That connection to hands-on craft, reliability, and building for people has shaped how I approach technology and scale today.
Before joining Apple Industries, I worked as a robotics software engineer at Toyota Material Handling, helping develop autonomous forklifts. I earned my Master’s in Robotics Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of software, hardware, and physical-world products.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring side projects and ideas — a few of which are shared here. You can also find more technical work on GitHub, and my full experience on LinkedIn.
